An amazing nonprofit creative reuse center in Fort Worth that offers teachers the opportunity to shop for free, filling their cart with as much "stuff" as they need for their classroom-- from arts and crafts items to STEM project materials to office supplies, classroom decor and more (and when they're tired from all that free shopping, there's an awesome "teacher's lounge" donated by IKEA where they can enjoy an espresso and meet other educators!). There is also a boutique where the public can can shop-- if you're visiting Ft. Worth don't miss this oh-so-COOL and creative place! Untrash Creative Reuse donates its "extra" items (things we don't have space for), as well as volunteer hours, to The Welman Project.
From upcycled earrings made of reused leather and tin cans, to cat castles made of old cardboard boxes, the Richardson Public Library promotes reuse on a regular basis in its FREE community workshop program. Untrash Creative Reuse has provided magazines for its collage workshops and other creative endeavors!
Network always needs plastic bags for its food pantry, and we pass on our excess bags to them!
Contact us at UntrashCreativeReuse@gmail.com if you're a nonprofit that could use our excess creative materials or have a particular creative material need that we could help you acquire!
